JESSICA A. QUINTANA HESS, M.S.ED., currently serves as Assistant Dean of International Programs at Marywood University, Scranton, PA. Prior to joining the Marywood community, she held various enrollment management leadership roles at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A higher education professional for over 25 years, Jessica has also worked as an admissions officer and director of multicultural affairs with previous positions held at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and American University in Washington, D.C. She pursued her academics at Bucknell University earning both a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Secondary Education and also a Master of Science Degree in Education. Within her undergraduate program, Quintana Hess was able to focus on the colonial and antebellum periods, investigating the continental and Caribbean Americas. Mrs. Hess originally hails from Valley Cottage, New York and graduated from Nyack High School. Personally, she has been involved in her church, with various community initiatives such as the Milton Cultural Festival and TIME for Teens Program, has been involved in coaching youth sports and organizing a number of civic engagement programs, and served as Regional Academic Advisor for Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. She enjoys spending time with her family, the performing arts, running, participating in health and wellness activities, and traveling.
