Nadine Marie Harvey is an Instructor of Practice and the Nursing Lab Manager in the Department of Nursing at Marywood University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marywood in 2018 and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from SUNY Delhi in 2022.
She teaches across the undergraduate curriculum, with a strong focus on lab and clincial based, hands-on learning in health assessment, fundamentals of nursing, adult health, and critical care. She is passionate about simulation-based education and fostering clinical decision-making skills through experiential learning.
She serves as the faculty advisor for the Student Nurses Association of Marywood (SNAM), promoting student leadership, professional growth, and engagement in community outreach. She is also actively involved in university sponsored service work, including domestic and international service trips that emphasize health equity, social justice, and community resilience.
In addition to her academic role, she practices in progressive care and medical-surgical units, with clinical expertise in telemetry, trauma, and critical care. As an undergraduate Honors Program scholar, she completed research on coping strategies related to nursing student stress, reflecting her long-standing commitment to supporting student well-being and success. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing Education, with research interests in faculty preparedness, generational learning differences in nursing education, and the integration of technology-enhanced teaching strategies.
